Penthouse Suite on Carnival Imagination

My hubby and I are booked on the Imagination in January and for the first time booked a Penthouse Suite. Can anyone tell us what kind of amenities we will be receiving as compared to just booking a Balcony Cabin which we usually do? We are very excited about this and would like as much info as possible.

We stayed in a PH on the Sensation -(our first cruise) was really nice! You will get VIP boarding - this is a plus! We departed from Port Canaveral - arrived at about 11:00 and there were hundreds of people there already...went to the VIP door - and was wisked away to a seating area then checked in, then escorted to where they take your picture, and was on board at 11:15 - 11:20! We walked by hundreds of people, some were our friends who got there at 10:00am, and we were on board first!

On Carnival the only real "extra" is VIP boarding. Cat. 12 are on the upper deck in the middle of the ship with a balcony. On Fantasy ships Cat. 11 & 12 are the only balconies.... well I have heard that with the new refit that there will be some other balcony rooms.
