Hi,

We are going on Noordam 1/13/09. We were taking my sister-in-law and her 21 year old grand daughter. Right now my sister in law may not be able to go. Her grand daughter (my great niece) is still able to go. My question is: She is legal age in the U.S. but does HAL a 21 year old to have her own cabin?

She can be in a cabin by herself. No problem. This is from HAL's cruise contract:

All persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian. Persons under 21 years of age are not permitted to consume alcoholic beverages; parents and guardians are obligated to insure compliance with this requirement.
