buying cigarettes onboard

I was just wondering on Holland america, when you purchase cigarettes from the duty free shops, do you get them right then and there? or do they make you wait and get it the last night like the alcohol?

im just wondering since we are planning a cruise on ryndam

You get them right there and then. They often have good deals on two cartons.

As far as I am aware, Princess is the only one who makes you wait until the end of the cruise for your ciggies.

prices were not much lower than we pay in central Fl. They will match the prices charged in St. Thomas or St. Martin if you are stopping in those ports, just show them a store flyer. We had them drop over $5 a carton using Dynasty offer.

Yes, you can receive them right away, but remember, the selection is limited and they might not have the ones you smoke. I can't stand any other brand but my own, which of course, they do not sell.
