Sheraton Airport - Fort Lauderdale

Does anyone know if they have shuttle service to Port Everglades? Also, how does one go about getting double beds in a room as opposed to a single King?

I believe you have to take a taxi....we are there the day before our Jan 05 cruise and are renting a car...then the car rental will take us to port.

Ron~~~~I have stayed at the Sheraton Airport Hotel several times and they have graciously arranged a shuttle to Port Everglades for us........a couple of times there were 4 to 5 of us needing transportation. Just ask Vic at the front desk!

I tried this about a month or two ago for our March stay upon winning a Priceline bid. They claimed that they could not take the request this far in advance.

Orcrone, I got the same answer from the Marriott for my last stay, I just called every few hours til I got someone to honor my request. I also stated to the person on the phone that I realized this was nothing more than a request, then someone helped me. Give it a try or keep trying til someone is willing to help you out.

I just got the same runaround from the Sheraton - said they could only request, then said it was too early to request - call back in December.

This is interesting. When we booked thru Priceline for the Sherato in late August, I called right away as we re a family of three ad was told that would be no problem.

It probably depends on who you speak to.

Yes, you are right. It does depend on who you speak to. I meant to say also the reservation made in August is for Feb 17th and 18th..

We are on your roll call and I just noticed that you must be staying at the Sheraton Airport, too. I got ours through Priceline. We will be coming in Friday afternoon. I've been trying to see what kind of opinions people had about the hotel. The website portrays a very nice looking place. Can't wait!
