jimmyp Posted January 8, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2009 Hi everyone, I'm on the Valor next week and have some last minute questions: What is the earliest time you can get on the ship (the offical answer I believe is 12:30pm). Is dinner served on the Sunday? Or is just the Lido deck open? I'll prob have some more questions before Saturday. Thanks Jim
nybumpkin Posted January 8, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 8, 2009 Last year, we arrived around 11 and were on board before noon. As for dinner - yes, dinner will be served in the dining room the first night. Enjoy your cruise!
coachj Posted January 8, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 8, 2009 You can begtn boarding around 11:30ish, but can arrive as early as 10:00am. Wedding parties go first then platinum/VIP cabins and then all others according to arrival time. Lido deck will serve lunch late into the afternoon and normal dinner in both Lido and the dining rooms will commense sometime after lifeboat drill. cman67 Posted January 9, 2009 #6 Share Posted January 9, 2009 Our documents show that we have a transfer from the hotel to the ship at 12PM. Can we somehow change that so we can get to the ship by 11am. Who would I call to change th epick up time? Thanks
2boys2girls Posted January 9, 2009 #7 Share Posted January 9, 2009 We also got to the port around 11am and were on board by noon...one thing I want to emphasize is that you can go to the dining room the 1st night (in your casual 1st day on board clothes) in case your luggage doesn't come in time and it's ok! We love to go to have dinner in the formal dining room at night and when we showed up the 2nd night (after eating on the Lido deck the 1st night because we didn't get our luggage before the early seating) our wonderful waiters asked why we didn't come the 1st night and said it was ok to come the 1st night in our "casual" clothes!!
