Coffemaker

You are generally never going to be given anything with a heating element in your cabin because fire is the greatest fear of the cruiseline. As was noted earlier, you can probably either have hot water delivered or head to the buffet area for hot water to bring back to your cabin.

So is brining your own coffee pot frowned upon? Because of the heating element thing? I've read a lot of posts from people who bring their own coffee maker...but is that a no no?

 

I don't know that there is a rule against it, but given the availability of hot water and coffee, you would have weigh its worth against having to carry it on.

We were told at a muster drill that as long as it has a thermostat control, and automatic shutoff that they can be used.
