NCL Jade - BD Balcony - Enclosed?

Have I booked the wrong category? In looking at exterior shots of the ship, seems like the BD balcony is a cutout in the hull. Is that the case? No plexiglass to look out of?

Can anyone confirm about BD balconies on Jade?

 

Looks like the cabin balcony is inset and the hull is farther out. Hard to explain but looks like you can't stick your head out beyond the balcony rail to see front/back of ship or panorama view.

I think only the very first or very last BD cabin has that weird cut out. If you look at these BD balcony cabins you can go right to the edge of the ship.

 

 

I like those better because people can't look into your cabin. Hope this helps!

Thanks so much! That picture shows the plexiglass right at the hull so will have the 180 vista. And you're right it certainly seems private.
