gisi102 Posted April 22, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2004 I received our documents and there are 2 luggage tags per person, is that the limit per person? the documents only state 200 lbs limit. do carry-ons count (need a tag)? I was thinking of taking 3 pieces of luggage (for me and my husband)and 2 carry-ons. is that too much? it is 7 days. what do you guys usually take? thanks
madforcruising Posted April 22, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 22, 2004 There is no limit of number of pieces you can take on the ship. Well if you have to fly you have to meet the airlines restrictions of course. Your carry-on´s don´t need any luggage tags. They are just for the checked luggage. If you need more you can get them at the pier. cruisinfanatic Posted April 22, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 22, 2004 Unless they are small, 3 suitcases shouldn't be needed. After years of experience, we've found that we still don't use everything we pack and we take 2 suitcases, 1 carry on, and 1 small bag that we put snacks, cd player ect. in for the plane. Bookit Posted April 22, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 22, 2004 This happened to me on our last RCI cruise -- 2 luggage tags per person. I finally got RCI to send me more tags (after 2 calls, of course, and 1 by my TA . Personally, I don't want a last minute task at the pier, and there were a few recent posts where people were robbed (Miami) as they concentrated on filling out more tags!
