In 2005, we had a one-day cruise stop in Cochin and took the ship excursion to the Backwaters. We loved it and where intrigued by the many houseboats. We have booked a cruise for later this year that again includes a one-day stop in Cochin. This time, we are hoping to experience that day on a houseboat cruising the backwaters.

 

If you have ever done this, was it a worthwhile adventure?
