San Diego Ellie Posted January 16, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 16, 2009 We are doing to back to back on Century, but have different cabins each sailing. Does anyone know what they do regarding our luggage? thanks for any help. Ellie
kitty9 Posted January 16, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 16, 2009 Your cabin steward will bring a rolling rack to help transport your clothing in the closet. You will have to repack your other items and take them, probably with assistance, to your new cabin.
San Diego Ellie Posted January 16, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted January 16, 2009 Many thanks for your answer, but one thing puzzles me. When I leave the "old" cabin, the "new" one will be cleaned yet. Will they let me just deposit my packed suitcases in the uncleaned new room?
Smoke Fan Posted January 16, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 16, 2009 They won't bring you to an unclean room. Be sure that your cabin attendant on the 1st sailing knows that you'll be there for the next cruise so that he/she can coordinate with the other cabin steward. Just an FYI, for our b2b on Solstice, we were booked in 2 different cabins. I kept checking online and as soon as I saw that one of the cabins was open on the other sailing I called Celebrity and ended up with the same cabin for both weeks. Inshape Posted January 16, 2009 #6 Share Posted January 16, 2009 Last year we did b2b on RCI NOS. We did not have the same cabin. I was told to go talk to the cabin steward for the second cruise and let him know you are a b2b and ask him if he can clean that cabin first. It was done this way for us, and then the other cabin steward brought all of our stuff up to the new cabin. I packed everything, and did not use a rolling rack. it was not offered. The cabin steward did offer to pack for me... I said NO thanks. SO all I did was take the clothes from the closet and fold them into my luggage and then I returned the hangers from the other room. No problem.
