Luggage from Rome

We are thinking of staying in Rome for several days after our cruise terminates. Has anyone had experience in shipping baggage home from Rome or Civi?

Suggest that you go to the UPS or FedEx web site. Don't remember the exact links as it has been a while since I've done it, but you can actually get a quote for shipping a package from any Italian city to your home. The numbers will surprise you and you will probably not even want to consider it.

 

There are other commercial companies that do the same thing. Their rates are steep also. If you want convenience, you can get it, but you will pay for it.

I have read figures well over $100 for shipping one suitcase. Solution: just pack lighter to start with.
