is there a glass bottom boat ride at the luminescent bay? we really cannot kayak as there are too many of us who are unable to.

if there is no glass bottom regular/non kayak boat what else do you think would be good for a group of 7 people, from 8 to 40ish years old, one who is blind and a few that are wimpy?

we are in san juan on a tuesday evening on the carnival triumph.

There is 1 company that has "glass bottom" kayaks. That's the only "glass bottom" option.

If you're in port any less than 5pm - midnight you will not have enough do the Fajardo bio bay on your own. By the time you get to Fajardo, see the biobay, and get back to the ship ... they may have already set sail. Better to do with the ship's excursion. Then you'll be sure they wait for you.

If you're in port from at least 4pm - 1am you might consider the East Island trip to the Vieques bio bay. They use an electric pontoon boat to go into Mosquito Bay. They depart from Fajardo around 5:30pm and return to Fajardo around 11pm. But you'd want to make sure you have enough cusion on the return portion of your trip so that you don't miss your ship.

There is a so-called electric motor boat that goes into the Fajardo bio bay, but the guy uses a gasoline motor ... which contributes to the destruction of the bio bay ... so I can't recommend him.
