Fall 09 Carnival Spirit - Ensenada to Charlotte

At this time we have selected Carnival's add on for airfare. From what I have been able to determine from CC members, luggage and bus transfers from Ensenada can be terrible. Does anyone know about available transportation from the port to San Diego?

At this time the flights from San Diego to Charlotte seems to be after 4pm unless we change planes several times (3+). We have already requested diviations, but.... Flying to Honolulu is not a problem, the return may be.

Any comments?

Even if you don't use Carnival airfare, you want to use the Carnival transfers from Ensenada to San Diego as they are the best option. The biggest issues with the transfers is the fact you have to cross the US border at an extremely busy border crossing - the same thing would be an issue with private transfers.

Also, you won't want to have a return flight from SAN any earlier than mid afternoon due to tne distance and time it can take for the transfers. A flight after 4pm will be perfect. If you want an earlier flight, then I recommend you plan to spend the night in San Diego and fly home the next day.
