Marriott St Kitts - Pool

I think someone posted somewhere that the Marriott St Kitts was closing it's pools until late spring? Has anyone been there recently that might know if that is the case. Cruising to St. Kitts 1st week in April. Sounds like Hurricane Omar did alot of damage here - where else might be a good spot for the beach.

someone just posted photos on this board of pool. There is more than one pool there as well. I believe I read what you're talking about and it was allegedly closed until May. Check Marriott.com and find the resort; they are good about posting changes/closures/construction for each property.

Thanks so much for the advice. I'm going to check out their website and see if they have anything posted. I'll check out the pictures too.

My husband and I are going to St. Kitts this weekend. I have read on cruisecritic and also trip advisor about the main pool being closed for repair. This is the pool with the swim up bar. In panic I called the St. Kitts Marriott directly this weekend. I was told the pool opened 2 weeks ago. Yippee!

We were just there on 2/14. The place was so nice and all the pools were open. It cost us $90 total and there were 4 of us, so we split the bill in half. We would definitely go back there. It was a nice day.

Thanks for letting me know. We are looking forward to visiting there the 1st week in April - it can't come quick enough. I see you were there on Valentine's Day!

you get a hotel room, use of the beach, pools, towels, etc. You pay for your food and drinks. You can use the beach because it's public but not their furniture or the pool areas. It's nice to have the room to take a shower/store your things as well.
