2009 Coupon Book

Has anyone received 2009 coupon book for their cruise. We normally use it for the 2 for 1 the 1st night and buy 5 get the 6th free in the speciality restaurants. But any savings help.;)

I have only seen Carnival coupon books so far.

We just cruised on Star and sadly, no coupon books. I had read on the threads that ncl discontinued them as of the end of 2008. We did order the Anniversary package and upon arrival we had three bottles of sparkling wine in our cabin: 1 for the package, 1 from the online TA, and 1 from ncl!:) Totally unexpected and we were only booked in a "G" obs. view cabin.

Our reservations for our May 2009 Cruises say we're suppose to get them, I guess we will know closer to sailing.

We just attended a cruise promotion at our local travel agent where all the major cruises had reps there. The NCL rep told my wife there are no coupon booklets for 2009 as they were not used much. Maybe if they offered better promotions :)

On our confirmation for our May 2009 cruise it states that we will receive the coupon books.

I was told by our PCC that there will not be any coupon books this year, NCL has discontiued them, sorry

We sailed on NCL last year and got one from our TA but she told us the same thing that everyone else is reporting, that NCL had discontinued for 2009...out of the 20 or so coupons, the only ones worth anything last year was 1 ea Buy1 Get 1 free in a speciality restaurant on the 1st night, Buy 2 Get 1 free drink, and $5 in casnio play...

 

Does anyone know if they are still doing the casino coupon booklets on board in the casino?
