Rental car in Loreto

I was there years ago, real small, too small to rent a car, and I have rented cars to do what you are thinking.

I rent a car in Acapulco, and would consider it in Puerto Vallarta, not loreto, too small. You will find yourself in open arid desert before you know it.

Loreto and Baja are newer areas only developed in the past 40 years, and only a cruise port for less than a decade.

Very nice though. I loved it! Small nice mexican sea front village.

I realize Loreto itself is to small to rent a car for. But we were thinking about going up and down the coast and checking out several beach spots and anything else either direction from loreto as well as town.

We have driven Baja before from Lapaz to Todos Santos to Cabo and to San jose del cabo and back to La paz. So we are use to driving down there. Still may take a chance on renting one but would like more information if someone has any to share..
