Viking Bucharest to Nuremburg

Has anyone done this itinerary? Any suggestions on must see sights? Optional tours.

Do you recommend changing currency in to Bulgarian Lev's, Hungarian Forints etc? Or can we use Euros for everywhere? Can I assume the Bulgarians, Romanians, and Serbians will accept Euros?

I know Germany and Austria are Euros.

We are just in Bucharest for 1 night, any must see sights besides the Palace?

 

Have been on many ocean cruises, any suggestions for the River Cruises would be appreciated.

We were in Eastern Europe last summer on AMA. Bucharest is a pretty city with excellent airport. I would stick to Euros and possibly Forints for Budapest(, museums, subway, etc). Any left over local currency (non Euros that is) you can always give as tips.

We are departing May 16th(ovenight on Bucharest on May 15th). Originally scheduled for Apirl 15th, but they cancelled our sailing and moved us to May. They told us all of the April sailings had been cancelled?
