Ncl ship ages

LOWTYD

Recommended Posts

Can anyone tell me the oldest to youngest NCL ships? They revamped some of them and dropped the "ward" from their names a while ago. But I am just curious on their ages.

Thanks.

Sandy

From Newest to oldest: (I am not exactly sure of the dates for the 3 most recent, but they have all been since 2005)

Gem (2007)

Pearl (2006)

Jade (originally launched as Pride of Hawaii) (2006)

Pride of America (2005)

Jewel (2004)

Dawn (2003)

Star (2002)

Sun (2001)

The rest I am not sure of their years:

Sky (originally launched in 1998 or 99 as the Sky, Underwent renovation and was reflagged as the Pride of Aloha in 2004 and then underwent renovation again and was reflagged back as the Sky.)

Spirit (originally launched as Superstar Leo by Star Cruises in Asia, transfered and renovated by NCL to the Spirit in 2004)

Dream (leaving fleet)

Majesty (leaving fleet)

The Dream was the last of the "ward" ships left in the fleet (Dreamward) and was also the last NCL ship that they "Stretched." The Wind, Sea and Crown have left the fleet in the past 5 years.
