Harbour Breeze Cruises long Beach- Whale sightings in May?

Looking at a Harbour cruise from Long Beach in Early May after returning to Queen Mary Hotel May 3rd And before sailing on Carnival Paradise May 4th or May 8th Before sailing on Sapphire Princess om May 9th,

What is the chances of seeing whales on one of these Harbour cruises?

No, whales don't come into the Harbor (with very rare exceptions) and the grey whales along the CA coast have already passed that area and are nearly to Alaska and the Bering Sea by then. Dolphin sightings are fairly common in the channel going over to Catalina, but not inside th harbor. The only sealife you are likely to see are California sea lions and gulls.

 

Whale watching season in SoCal is pretty much Thanksgiving to Easter.
