One more time, please help me get this straight.

 

WE tender at Ixtapa.........what is just off the dock? Stores? Do we have to take taxi's to Zijuan?

 

Where is the big Market that everyone talks about?

 

I'm thinking we'll go to Los Gatos to snorkel. Good idea?

Any help will be appreciated.

you tender at Zuhua, in the pic below, Ixtapa is about 5 miles away. Ixtapa is a white sand beach high rise hotel scene. Zihua seen below is the favorite port on your cruise (spirit). Have fun

we loved las gatas,, nice area, good food, great service, fun snorkeling

 

we brought our own gear, but remember to wear swim shoes, there were some rocks in teh water ...

You dock right at the heart of Zuit. shopping. Beautiful! Shady, with lots of stalls. We have taken a taxi around the bay to the other beaches, but found if you just walk down to the end of the shopping area and keep on going, the are great little places to hang out and swim, have lunch and drinks. And still be close for shopping. The vendors kind of swarm you, but they are just trying to make a buck. And I got some cute stuff!

Zihua is my absolute favorite place in Mexico. We were there for only one day and we are planning to go back for a week next year. Las Gatos beach in memorable, warm gentle and clear water, great sand, wonderful palapas restaurants, and lots of cold beer.
