Pre and post excursion aruba question

We are going to be in Aruba from 10a-6p on Enchantment of the Seas in April.

We want to snorkel and right now are thinking of the Sail, Snorkel, Swim & Swing excursion that is 4 hours in duration.

That should leave us SOME time on the island.

We were hoping to join Jolly Pirates but their tour times don't work with our sailings and we don't have our own snorkel gear so this tour will most likely work best for us....So....here are my ?'s:

Is there a restaurant or something fun to see near the pier or within a reasonable distance in the time before or after we meet for our excursion?

Does anyone who has been on a recent sailing and in port in Aruba during this time period know what time this excursion will most likely be (Beginning/Middle/End of day)?

Does anyone know what ship they use? MiDushi?

I saw mention somewhere that MiDushi was retired in '95 but they must be talking about something else since I don't think THIS MiDushi is!

I just don't want to waste 1/2 day when we're not on an excursion sitting around back at the pier!:cool:

What you're describing sounds like it may be Jolly Prirates.............. They have two boats and frequently do RCCL tours. Most tours go shortly after arrival in port.

There is plenty of shopping, two casinos, several bars, and restaurants within walking distance.

Have fun!

The Sail, Snorkel, Swim and Swing Tour that Enchantment offers is a snorkel tour with the Jolly Pirates. The snorkel gear is included. Hope this helps!
