IUFAN Posted January 26, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2009 Having always been on 7 day cruises. Can someone please tell me the number of formals on longer cruises (ie 10, and 14)?
TJM001 Posted January 26, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 26, 2009 Two formal nights on the 10 day cruises. I don't know about the longer ones.
paul929207 Posted January 26, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 26, 2009 7-13 days = 2 formal nights 14-20 days = 3 formal nights 21-27 days = 4 28+ = 5+
Grego Posted January 26, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 26, 2009 7-13 days = 2 formal nights14-20 days = 3 formal nights 21-27 days = 4 28+ = 5+ That's my goal - having to worry about do I bring 3 shirts and launder them twice for a 28+ day cruise. The most formal nights we have had so far this 3 on a 14 day.
Toto2Kansas Posted January 26, 2009 #5 Share Posted January 26, 2009 7-13 days = 2 formal nights14-20 days = 3 formal nights 21-27 days = 4 28+ = 5+ Normally the above it true and it is exactly what Princess has listed on their website. But just to add a bit of confusion into this, we just returned from a 14 day Grand Princess cruise that only had 2 formal nights. And we have sailed in the past on 12 day cruises that had 3 formal nights. Guess it depends on the sailing.:confused:
Pia1913 Posted January 26, 2009 #6 Share Posted January 26, 2009 That's my goal - having to worry about do I bring 3 shirts and launder them twice for a 28+ day cruise. The most formal nights we have had so far this 3 on a 14 day. One formal shirt + 2 or 3 bow ties. That's all you need. Since the shirt is worn for so short a time, my husband is able to wear it a 2nd time w/o laundering. We save the extra space for more important things; like my shoes. :D

How do we keep it all straight:confused:
