travelwriter01 Posted November 17, 2004 #1 Share Posted November 17, 2004 When I sailed on RCCL the past two times I was able to give family members left back home a 1800 number that could be used to reach the ship in case of emergency. Does anyone know what that phone number is? If I remember correctly it went to a call center and then the call could be directed to a ship. Please help me! neverenufcruising Posted November 17, 2004 #4 Share Posted November 17, 2004 From Carnival's Website: The caller needs to have available the ship name and the guest's name. The charges will be applied to the caller's credit card: MasterCard - Visa - American Express - The Discover Card - Diner's Club. 1-877 CCLSHIP (1-877-225-7447) from the U.S. 1-732-335-3284 from Canada and outside the U.S.

travelwriter01 Posted November 17, 2004 Author #6 Share Posted November 17, 2004 Thank you for the information, it was what I was looking for. I just like giving someone a number where I can be reached in case emergency arises, as I do have an elderly family member.
sotadragon Posted November 17, 2004 #7 Share Posted November 17, 2004 The most recent info I have is the same phone number (1-877-225-7447), and it's $9.50 per minute, plus any long distance charges.... So make sure it's an emergency if you need to be contacted or make a call from the ship!
