How can I help? I am an experience w/w but am having a hard time getting restarted myself. This may be helpful to me too ;)

The things that really worked for me:

Eat lots of veggies and have fresh veggie snacks readily available

Oatmeal for breakfast in the morning.

Keep a pot of the 0 point vegetable soup on hand

Skinny Cows are a great evening dessert (only 2 points!)

Be sure to excersize each day.

If I think of more I'll add them!

Exercise was key for me. I lost 75 pounds on Weight Watchers 12 years ago. After I lost my weight, I took a job where I was traveling 200+ days per year and wasn't able to exercise every day. That did me in. It is critical to consider it a life-long commitment to a new way of life.

Not sure I would consider myself an expert but I've been doing WW for 16 weeks now and here are a few things I've found that have worked for me.

I exercise every day

Make a plan of what you expect to eat for the day/week and then journal it

Make sure you get all the food groups in (dairy, fruits, veggies)

Don't think of it as a diet - it's just the new way you eat

Set mini goals for yourself and then attach a non food reward

Light and Tasty is a great magazine for low cal meal ideas and they taste good

Thanks for the link Binker!

A big key for me was keeping plenty of healthy zero point snacks on hand. I always have fresh veggies and when I go to a party, I bring a veggie tray. At parties I want to snack practically nonstop. The fresh veggies allow me to do that without blowing it.

As for excercise, I would say at a minimum, 20 minutes of excersize each day that gets your heart pumping. A good power walk, run, cycle, swim, any cardio machine at a gym. I chose walking, which became running because I learned that I needed some type of excersize where I wasn't dependant on another person, another schedule, a piece of equipment or a gym. With walking and running, all you need is your shoes and those travel pretty easily!
