My husband and I are going to the Dune Buggy Excursion sometime in the morning. I believe 9:30 to 11:30. After that I want to take my 5 yr and 2 yr old to a beach or something. I did not like any of the tours offered. Has anyone been there and just went to the beach?

We were there in 12/07. The beach is beautiful. However, on the day we were there, it had a lot of seaweed and seagrass washing up. Could have been because of the storm we passed through.

 

We opted for the pool at Margaritaville. It is a zero entry pool that is just wonderful. The kids swam while we had nachos and margaritas. We really loved this stop.

We just did the beach by the ship and the pool at Margaritaville when we were there. The kids loved it. They love doing beach days on cruises.

There is a lovely beach RIGHT THERE at the pier. Free--with chairs! It's a FAB beach day, for sure!
