float'n fanatics Posted January 27, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2009 We're booked on the Caribbean Princess for a cruise in May. This is our first Princess Cruise. :p We are currently booked in cabin C605... it was the last balcony available on the Caribe deck. We have an opportunity to booked a mini suite guarantee for just $50.00 more per person. Is it possible to get a bad location in a suite guarantee? Should we keep the room we have or switch to a Suite? Looking for opinions please. Thanks!
bhopal21 Posted January 27, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 27, 2009 You mention both a mini and a suite and they are two completely different cabins, which is it you are considering? Mike:)
jean s Posted January 27, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 27, 2009 If I had the chance to upgrade to a mini I would. We always book a mini because just a little more space does make a difference to us.

Mike:) According to The Princess web site, it's called a "Mini Suite with Balcony". The room we currently have booked is a Category BA on the Caribe deck. bhopal21 Posted January 27, 2009 #5 Share Posted January 27, 2009 I would jump at the mini suite for $50pp more. It is a larger cabin with a sitting area, two tvs and a bathtub. On Princess ships a "mini suite" is a different category than a "suite" which confuses some. Mike:)
