Chocolate buffet

people have been writing on here that Carnival has done away with most of their midnight galas/buffets - does that include the chocolate buffet? Do they still do the ice sculptures?

The last time I saw one was on the Glory back in 2007. It did include a chocolate display.

There was the ice carving and chocolate buffet on the Valor two days ago!

Chocolate buffet is at lunch. On Glory it's on the last sea day. Don't confuse the gala buffet which no longer happens with some of the other late night and speciality buffets (mexican, chocolate). The only one that no longer is done is the gala midnight buffet/photo op/waste of food.

It was at Lunch on the Fantasy last sea day - and I thought it was lame. It basically was their desserts they offer at lunch - probably more elaborate but it didn't seem much more than the first day - and all chocolate. Disapointing compared to NCL's midnight chocolate buffet. (well I think it's at 10 pm)

They had a few ice sculptures when we were on the Victory in December. I saw them setting up for the chocolate buffet one night, I think this was when we were in Barbados. I never saw the finished product.

I will definitely protest on the Lido deck at high noon if they do away with the chocolate buffet:D

Fascination. By choc buffet, I mean the melted choc with stuff to dip in it. They maitrede told me it is not offered on cruises shorter than 7 days (although I thought I remembered it on our last 5-night, but my memory is not that good).

Chocolate Buffet is at Lunch in the Lido. Many choices, beautiful to behold (and eat.)

The Miracle has their chocolate buffet on the last sea day at lunch....I like the chocolate sushi.

I was on the holiday in 2007. I remember that we had at least one midnight buffet, but I don't recall it being a chocolate buffet.
