1st drink of the day

 

My first dining room meal on Carnival has always been the Chicken peanut satay and the steak w/ peppercorn sauce.

 

The deli sandwiches - turkey and reuben

 

The bitter blanc and chocolate melting cakes for dessert.

The key lime pie (which now is only served on the buffet line on day 1 or day 2)

 

The cappuchino pie in the dining room

 

I used to love the pumpkins soup - but they seem to have changed it a bit!

First thing I get to eat is the Rueben Sandwich. They are sooo good from the deli. Also, always have to "try" my kids pizza..

Then I will get either to funship special or a beer....depending on my mood.

Can't wait for my cruise!!!!

You are right - GARLIC buffalo chicken wings are at the top of my list!!!

 

I was up in Tallahassee last weekend, and went to a place that used to have the BEST garlic chicken wings... sadly, times change, and so has their recipe... :(

I wish all Carnival ships would offer a nice plate of nachos swarming with chili and cheese and jalapenos. Can never seem to find a comfort food like that to go with my beer:)

Warm Melting Cake is the best! And the fries they have on the pool deck. I don't know why but they are SOOOO addicting! I can't have just one!

Anything from the Stir fry station that we found on the Liberty on our first cruise aboard that ship--so much we did a 2nd one the next year

There are only two Ground Pati's I know of that are still open post-Katrina but they are both easy enough to find...my favorite one is on David Drive just off Veterans Hwy, the other is in Bucktown off Old Hammond Hwy...and you are most welcome to stop by...we are just 15 minutes east of Jackson!! :D

 

Close enough to NOLA that we go down for Mardi Gras, French Quarter Fest and Jazz Fest almost every year and as often as possible throughout the year...oh yeah, and to go see family...

I would have to say a Miami Vice and burger and fries.....nothing like eating a burger on a ship in the middle of the ocean (or at the Port of Miami) Ice cream is good around 3 in the afternoon.

With ya' on THAT one!! Then after the soft-cone, we do a boat drink, and head for the cheeseburgers. And then dream about the warm melting chocolate cake for dinner!
