Carnival on-board entertainment when in Bahamas?

Hold

Recommended Posts

I have always stayed away from cruises to Bahamas since I heard that there is often no showroom entertaiment in the evenings while there. Some say that the reason for this is that "everyone goes ashore" for entertainment.
Not being the type that wants to go to dance clubs or bars (which seems to be the evening activity that most talk about) I did not want to get stuck on a ship that is little more than a hotel room when in this port.
I've sailed Carnival for at least a dozen cruises and look forward to dinner, followed by an evening show. Can anyone tell me what they do/do not offer when visiting the Bahamas?
