Air for a Hawaiian cruise

I just booked a 12 day Hawaiian cruise for April of 06. We fly into Honolulu and sail back to Vancouver. Can anyone tell me the best way to get air for this cruise. I thought I saw something before about going out of Seattle. Do you know how far it is from Vancouver port to Seattle and the best way to get there? Does Carnival offer transfers to Seattle? I know I probably won't be able to find anything until about March just trying to get a game plan around.

I have a good friend who is a travel agent.... They said with repositioning cruises, it is usually best to book with cruise company. Otherwise, you wind up with 2 one-way flights and those are hugely expensive, except on some discount carriers.
