Formal nights

Does a Carnival 3 day cruise have a formal night? We will be on the Sensation March 12 and have never done a short cruise.

Yes, they did on mine, it was the 2nd night, which was also in port (Bahamas). The elegant night rules might be way more lax on 3-day because lots of people were wearing shorts.

You will have 1 "cruise elegant" night. Nothing casual though. You can get away with slacks and a dress shirt

Thanks, that helps. I didn't really want to pack formal clothes for a 3 day. Going to try to take only one suitcase this cruise.

What we did last time we did a 3 day cruise we just took carryons and ate at the buffet formal nights.

 

Made for a lot less packing and made getting on the plane and outta the airports so much faster.
