Taxis at Port in Galveston?

If we do not pre-book return transportation to HOU, will we find the standard taxi line at the port upon disembarkation? We have an 11:30 return flight, and don't want to have to call and wait for pre-arranged transportation.

 

If there are taxis, any estimate on the cost?? I assume it's going to be around $75, which is what a private car would cost.

Not sure of the cost, but there is a line for taxi service and sometimes the line can get fairly long. Even though you are going to Hobby and it's only about a 45 minute trip, I'd suggest you sign up for early disembarkation so that you don't have to stress out any more than necessary.

When I talked to a taxi company a month ago, they said anticipate about $100
