Laterie Farms

It's a small island, so nothing is TOO far. On the view linked below the distance from the Cruise Facility to either Anse Marcel or to Plum Bay is less that eight miles, straight line distance.

 

BUT, the Loterie Farm is WAY off the beaten path for most St. Maarten taxi tours.

You'd have to negotiate with a taxi at the pier to take you there, wait for your time on the zipline and then the return.

 

For this event, I'd say that a ship's excursion may be the best choice.

It takes about 30-45 minutes to get to Loterie Farm from the ship. The cab ride was $17.50 per person, each way (this was for 2 people - could be cheaper if you have a bigger group). Arrange with the driver for a time to be picked up and taken back, based on when you plan to be out of there.

 

I don't know if this is feasible with the zipline, we just went there for a two-hour hike.
