Louise34 Posted February 1, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2009 We just received our cabin-#6287-2C and it indicates an obstructed view-lifeboats. This is our 1st Celebrity, and I never knew a veranda could be obstructed. Has anyone experienced this? Please comment what obstructed means and the type of view you have. cruisinfanatic Posted February 1, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2009 We just received our cabin-#6287-2C and it indicates an obstructed view-lifeboats. This is our 1st Celebrity, and I never knew a veranda could be obstructed. Has anyone experienced this? Please comment what obstructed means and the type of view you have. Thanks Yes, the 2C category is called obstructed because you have to look out over the roof of the lifeboats. The roofs are about the level of the balcony floor. See the picture. Your cabin looks to be the 9th one from the end, but on the other side.
emtaylor Posted June 1, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 1, 2010 I have that same cabin for an upcoming cruise. So, how was it? Was the "partial" obstruction annoying or was it OK? Please share.
