Posting Photos on CC Threads

For the last while, whenever I post a picture on a CC thread I get a thumbnail in my post that only opens to a small 2.5" x3.5" picture in another screen.

 

How do I get my picture to post within the thread itself, at a decent size. Sometimes it is the detail in the picture that is the reason for posting.

 

Any help is appreciated.

You need to have the image hosted somewhere on the internet if you want to be able to post larger photos. Many people use free image hosting sites such as the free Picassa Web albums

 

Then you need to get the image URL, which is the web address of the image you want to post. You put the URL between the [img*]image URL [/img*] (without the *)

 

example image URL

http://www.brobertson.org/HMC-webgallery/mediafiles/l17.jpg

 

If you put that URL inside of the tags like this

[img*]http://www.brobertson.org/HMC-webgallery/mediafiles/l17.jpg[/img*]

Again, remove the * first.

Bruce, thanks for the tip...We're geeked cause we moved up from our Canon PowerShot to a digital rebel for our cruise to Hawaii so I can't wait to post some pics but was wary on how to do so...Kudos
