Robes?

We're new to NCL and although this question is probably answered somewhere else I couldn't find it. So, do the NCL cabins have robes for one's use while onboard? Just a little info that will be helpful in my packing. Thanks;)

We are just off the Star and there were lovely cotton waffle weave robes for us. The "one-size-fits-all" actually did fit me and I ended up purchasing one for $48.00.

I believe that is for balcony and above cabins.... suites have a plush terry robe. I have read here that inside and ocean view cabins can request a robe, and often the steward can get you one.

NCL says that robes are provided for Balcony and above. However, we just had an inside room on the Sky which had robes. A nice surprise.

 

So, if you are below a balcony, just ask your steward and I'd bet he can accomodate.

Just got back from sailing on the SKY. No robes in cabins but if you go up to the spa area and get a locker, you can take a robe back to your cabin. Each ship may be different and especially if you have a suite.

as I sit here typing in my Waffle NCL robe, I can tell you that this is what we had in our BB balcony cabin on the STar in Dec.

Only for $48 a piece! LOL that is for new ones not the ones in your cabin. If you want them just let the steward know and he will bring you new ones in plastic bags and put them on your shipboard account.

We were on the Gem last week in a mini-suite and never got robes. I thought we were supposed to....

Anyone in balcony and higher cabins are supposed to get robes. If they are not in your cabin when you arrive, ask your steward and he/she will be happy to get them for you.

We found them very generous for a 1x woman so I think they would work for at least another couple sizes larger than that. Believe me, they are much more generous that the typical "one size" garment.

We were in an inside stateroom on the Gem in Jan/Feb and was surprised to see robes when I opened the door.

When on the Pearl this year, we saw a man eating in the buffet in his robe. He seemed to like it so much, it became his "outfit" on several other days and all over the ship. Now that is Freestyle!!
