Cruise Ship Builds for 2009

Just looking at the new build list for 2009.

These two caught my eye - I would have listed others but they are listing the cost in Euros and I do not have my pocket currency calculator.

 

MSC new build the MSC Splendida - 133,500 tons - 3274 passangers - cost 600 million.

Celebrity - Celebrity Equinox - 122,000 tons - 2850 passangers - cost 640 million.

 

Smaller ship but it costs more - guess Celebrity is packing a bit more into the ship.
