Copala & Concordia Tour

We did a tour to Copala and Concordia last year, but not with Johann & Sandra. The stops on the way to see bricks and furniture made were strictly for tourist consumption. The towns are very interesting and worth the trip. I would go again, not on a tour, to have more time for photography. In Copala we ran into a fellow that I had dealt with at work for a few years. We had a few laughs over that.

We did the tour offered through the HAL ship. The tour was 15 minutes in Concordia, 1 hr 10 min in Copala. Both places warranted much more time. The countryside was beautiful, and I felt we got a "taste" of non-tourist Mexico. The wood carvers/furniture makers weren't carving, and the brick making was lame, to be kind. We also got to spend 45 minutes at Diamonds International in Mazatlan. I'd have preferred to actually spent the whole tour in Concordia and Copala.
