Interesting book telling behind the scenes stories of cruise ship crew

Recommended Posts

I don't know if this has been mentioned before. I came across this book at my local library.

Cruise Confidential by Brian David Bruns

It offers an interesting insight into the world of being part of the crew on a cruise ship. Although he worked for Carnival, I am sure the conditions are similar on RCCL. Not the best written book - but certainly very interesting

When you go to the Amazon page, there is also a book listed "What Time is the Midnight Buffet?" by Chesterh.

The linked book looks like fun, the other I mention is written by a gentleman who is a member of CC. It's one of the very best cruise reviews I've ever read...I still have it around here somewhere.

Have read "Devils" (VERY interesting!!!)...and just ordered Confidential and What Time's the Midnight Buffet?"......

Any other suggestions? I'm not too interested in travelog type books...looking for behind the scenes or humorous books about cruising....

Steve

P.S. Hope I didn't just hijack the thread!!!...certainly wasn't my intention....
