There are a few minis on Emerald Deck that have an extended balcony all the way at the aft on both port and starboard side, category AD. We had one of these for a month long voyage. The one on port side is right over the speakers in the Vista Lounge below, the one on the Starboard side is not and is much quieter.
mii Posted February 5, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 5, 2009 I had E719 on the Star last Oct. after dry-dock and it is a great cabin. Very quiet back there; would stay in that cabin again in a heartbeat. As for dry-dock stuff, they have installed the International Cafe, Vines and MUTS. They were supposed to build some suites but never got around to that. Frankly I like the International Cafe as they had sandwiches, pastries, cho-chip cookies to die for. Most of the stuff is free and there is some things that have a cost but they are well marked. The also put in the Crown Grill. Marilyn
shawilson Posted February 5, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 5, 2009 I totally agree with Marilyn. Go with the AD mini. You will have a partially covered balcony, which would come in handy in case you run into rain. I will always book AD on Princess!
