Moosemilk - Cartgena - HELP

I emailed Lee Miles - no response. From another CC'er I emailed a private tour guide (assuming a taxi driver) for just my husband and I. Well, from reviews on CC the private driver works for Lee Miles, but will take just my husband and I for $90 pp. I notice you had this driver (JJ-Jacinto) booked through Lee Miles. My question - do I hire him for $90 pp or take my chances and just go with a Taxi and tell the driver what we want to do. My head is swimming over Cartagena. To me, sounds like Lee Miles has this Island down pat - obviously, so would JJ - soooooo is it worth $90 pp? I really would welcome your response and thanks in advance. (Sounds like I answered my own question - but need reassured.
