Timing question

Here's a question I hope someone can help with.

 

I hope to book a couple of tours myself directly with the companies instead of through the ship. How much time do you need between when the ship docks and you are able to get off the ship.

 

I live in a summer port and a lot of the travellers complain that the first off the boat are the ppl who book thru the ship. Since they have independant tours or just planned a walk about and go for lunch etc everyone else gets off before them.

 

And yes it's the same ship line we are travelling on.

You need to go with the vendor's recommendation for timing, not scheduling this yourself. They know what they are doing and will offer you the best timing options for you visit.
