Puerto Limon Hacienda Experience

Don: we did that tour while on the Summit. The Hacienda is way up in the hills. A bus transports you through the city. Once you arrive at the Hacienda you are taken into the little place where they extract the sugar cane syrup using the old method of the burros. Also, you visit a little reconstruction of a home, lots of steps to climb to get there. The view from there is beautiful. The lunch was served in the restaurant overlooking the valley, and consisted of chicken, salads and a dessert.

That is all I really remember from the tour. Also, we were there on Good Friday, and passed many family gatherings at the beautiful altars and shrines erected for services along the roadway.
