Wine policy on Princess

I have searched Princess website and cannot find an answer. So can someone either direct me to where to find this info or give me first hand knowledge. How many bottles of wine are you allowed to take onboard Carribean Princess?

I believe each adult is allowed to carry on oe bottle of wine.

It has this passage in it...

 

Passengers hereby agree not to bring alcoholic beverages of any kind (except wine and champagne) on board for consumption. You must surrender alcoholic beverages that are purchased duty free from the ship’s gift shop, or at ports of call, to Carrier for safekeeping, which will be delivered to Your stateroom on the last day of the voyage. A corkage fee of $15.00 per bottle (which is subject to change without notice) will be applied to wine and champagne brought aboard by You and consumed in the ship’s restaurants

 

But, from experience and what other posters on the Princess boards have said, you can carry on more than one bottle of wine. They will not stop you. I've heard of folks bringing on multiple bottles in specially designed luggage. Shouldn't be a problem.

We usually carry on a couple of bottles packed in bubble wrap and a sealed bag to make sure that if they do break, the rest of the suitcase isn't destroyed. The most we've carried on has been four bottles, but I've heard of folks bringing aboard a case with no trouble (I wouldn't try this myself). Bring along a corkscrew for your cabin, as there usually isn't one (or the steward will provide one).

Sure, sure, that may be their policy, but they don't heavily enforce it. :)

Agree -- actually they do not even "lightly" enforce it. But the attitude of some posts (not yours) that suggest "bring a case" and just show them the contract if they stop you, is I think a sure fire way of the rest of us being totally deprived of the privilege soon.
