lastminutecruiser Posted November 19, 2004 #1 Share Posted November 19, 2004 I just read in the RC literature that when you book an air/sea package they can require that you travel up to two days early! Has anyone had this happen? I am afraid if that would happen it would really add to the cost of this trip. We booked because of a "special rate on air fare". If we had to go early it would add hotel costs and the cost of another day of lost work. Please reply if you have any experience with this disclaimer. Thanks
Arizona Cruz Chic Posted November 19, 2004 #2 Share Posted November 19, 2004 Hi....its hard to answer your question cause we don't know where you live and where you're cruising to?????? When we cruise out of Miami/FFL. and we book air/sea we are scheduled for the day prior.....with comp hotel through RCI. So it depends on where you are flying out of and where you are cruising out of. For us, from Az. to Fl. we would never make the ship same day. Even if we cruise a different port closer to home we ALWAYS go day prior and take the insurance...you never know, flight cancellations, delayed flights, missed connections....whatever. Its worth the extra $$ for a hotel to go day prior. hope this helps:) ***
