acecards Posted February 10, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 10, 2009 We're sailing on the Coral Princess 7/27/09. Plan to do Helicopter to glacier in Juneau and Summit Pass Railway in Skagway. Anyone know of whale watching out of Ketchikan? If not whale watching, ship's shore excursions mentions Misty Fjords Wilderness Explorer. Is there an outside vendor that does this same/similar trip? GMoney Posted February 10, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 10, 2009 I'm not familiar with whale watching in Ketchikan. Juneau is your best bet. Are you there long enough to do 2 tours?

No one does whale watching out of Ketchikan. Juneau or Glacier Bay or Sitka will be best for that. The Misty Fjord Boat cruises done by Allen Marine Tours are wonderful and cost the same on and off the ship. Seaplane tours are great but savings can be made if purchased off ship.
