We have just booked on the Seabourn Legend on her March 27 Atlantic crossing from St. Thomas to Lisbon. Can anyone tell us where the ship will dock in St. Thomas and what are the booking in procedures? Any further information regarding how many formal nights etc, would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you in advance.

tojofo~~~~there are 2 Cruise ports in Charlotte Amalie and closer to March, Seabourn will contact you as to which berth and cruise pier. A suggestion would be for you to fly in the day before.........just eases the anxiety of "not missing the boat!" A number of us book the Pride Spring Transatlantic and we always fly into Ft. Laud. the day before. (we have a big cocktail and dinner party and laugh and say, "well we wanted a 13 day voyage!") You will enjoy 3 formal nights, 2 casual (always the 1st evening and the last) the other nights are "country club casual"--just semi/dressup) And for any reason that you prefer to dine in the Veranda, it's casual. Also, don't forget the fabulous "in-suite dining".....served course by course with fine wines. Rent a movie and dine in your terry bathrobe! Fun!

You will never forget your Legend Crossing......as it's truly magical! Many on this board have good Sailor friends, as we speak, coming from Tenerife to Ft. Lauderdale! We can hardly wait for their reviews!

Welcome to our Seabourn family! My favorite toast is:" the best Islands in the world are those that float and move.......their names are, The Legend, The Pride and The Spirit!" Cheers!!

We looked at this one as well but the timing wasn't right even though this was an excellent deal. One problem that you may run into when we were checking was getting a hotel in St. Thomas, because the cruise sails on Easter day and a lot of the hotels were booked or the prices were out of the stratosphere. Another alternative is to fly into San Juan and stay over, because you will have more selection to choose from and there even though the prices will still be steep, and there are plenty of flights from San Juan to STT the day of, it is a really short flight, and the ship leaves late, so that should not be a problem.
