Thanks, we want to be able to enjoy the sights from our balcony even if it happens to be raining.

One day while in port, a fierce storm moved in.

We headed back to the ship and enjoyed a nice lunch on our balcony, while it was raining.

 

A pirate ship sailed by, shooting off it's canons.

I just booked A511 on the Golden. Very excited to be sailing Princess again (and going to Hawaii!). I am now concerned that there might be noise from the lido deck above us (scraping of chairs, calypso band,etc). Has anyone experienced any problems with this?

The balconies on the Aloha and Baja deck on the Golden are both covered. Caribe are half covered so being on the Aloha deck you get to look down on everyone

I just looked at the deck plan to see where abouts your cabin was and it is below where the Calpyso Pool and where the lounge chairs are. Now I have not been in that room so I have no idea if you can hear the chairs scraping or not. If you are concerned see if you can be moved to another cabin.
