RCCL tour: white river or chukka river tubing?

We are looking to book one of these excursions. Which river is better to tube on? :confused:

Any one? We are going in April and are interested in tubing also. Any one know if rivers are high enough now? Any difficulty for older people, poor knees?

I booked a tour with Mark Morris. We did the Dunn's River Falls and the White River tubing. Both were fabulous! The White River was clear and cool with enough riffles to make it fun.

Mark Morris did an exceptional job as our guide. I would contact him about any concerns you might have about tubing. I am sure he would be able to accommodate any specific, reasonable requests.

We just returned from the Island Princess. In Ocho Rios we booked the Chukka River Tubing and had a great time. We rode in a van up into the mountains for about 30 minutes. When we stopped, we were given time to use the restrooms and were handed comfortable life vests. We then were led down to the river and given individual tubes. Once everyone was in, we were off. In our group of 12 people, we had three guides and they were very helpful in directing us to the right spots, getting us started up again when we got hung up near the bank and just chatted with each of us about where we were from and about their beautiful country. There were spots in the river that were lazy but there were also some great rapids which were exhilirating. We have also done the other river tubing with Phil Lafayette and the Chukka River tubing was much better.
