kentlady Posted February 11, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2009 We were on the Crown last October and in the dining room when I ordered the cocktail of the day not only did I get free refills but was given the glass to keep, is the normal or was I just lucky. My next question is we have just booked for the Emerald on 19/4/09 and have been given a balcony cabin on Aloha. I have just disovered that the balcony is fully covered, does this mean we won't get the sun on it ? We were on Dolphin last year (1st cruise ) and sitting in the sun on the balcony was fantastic. BigGuy25 Posted February 11, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 11, 2009 I've never heard of "free refills" but often a souvenir glass is part of some drink deals! Covered cabins do not mean that you won't get sun on your balcony. It really depends on the position of the ship and the position of the sun. But you can rest assured there will be periods of time where you'll get plenty of sunshine ... if not in the morning ... then you'll have it in the afternoon. Actually, on many warm weather cruises, the shaded periods can be very welcoming!! And, you can always get sun from a chair on deck.

Being you didn't state what drink you ordered  I take it you ordered Limoncello!!!!;)..:D In the dining room, Limoncello is free!!! You pay for the "glass" $4.95 + 15% gratuity Sometimes they offer you a free refill. I started a thread showing a video of Princess making their famous Limoncello http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=821357
